FRP Technology for Boat Building (BTI/P3)
The Paramount Rectagg (PVT) Ltd is the only institute in Sri Lanka to provide training facilities for the boat building industry.
We provide high quality training complying German Standards under the supervision of Landesberufsschule fur Bootsbauer, Lubeck, Germany and related services in boat building and fishing technology to our stakeholders such as boat builders and operators, multi-day fishing community and newcomers to become internationally renowned.
By being fully equipped, well structured, self sustained professional center, we shall continuously educate all our stakeholders in boat and craft designing, building, operating, managing, trading etc., as applicable to promote boat building and fishing technology in Sri Lanka, ensuring profitability of the Industry.
What Makes Us Different
This program has been devised for individuals who wish to develop their boat building skills and includes use of hand and machine tools, calculation of areas & quantities. Completion BTI / P2 would be one qualification to follow this course. On this course you will develop a range of boat building skills and techniques with a marine bias. Key areas of study include working safely in an engineering environment, complying with statutory regulations and organizational requirements, following accident & emergency procedures, applying safe working practices and procedures recognizing and controlling hazards in the work place. By completing this course for 3 weeks time both theory and practical. you will be able to directly imole in boat building as a boat builder and will be eligible for a high income.
